Myth: Public speaking is meant for only some people while others were created to be shy and unable to communicate effectively in public.
Myth: Never make eye contact with your audience, it will destabilize you. Just look over their heads.
Sweaty palms, butterflies in the stomach, stuttering; stage fright manifests itself in different ways but it is almost always present. It is however more prominent for some people than others.
