Dear young person, just because you are their friend doesn’t mean that they are yours. Sometimes, we assume that because we would always be there for our friends when the chips are down that they too would be there for us but that is unfortunately untrue. Some of the people we think are our friends are at best just people we know.

We are told that failure is a part of life that when we fall down, we should get right up. That if we fail at a thing once, we should try again and if we keep failing we should keep on trying again and again. We have heard a lot of times about the invention of electricity and how it took Thomas Edison 99 failed attempts before he finally got it right. But here’s what they don’t tell us, that sometimes we should give up.

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT

Dear young people, don’t rush through life like it’s a roller-coaster. Take the time and enjoy each moment because once the moment is past, you can’t get it back. Often times, we are so busy trying to pass a stage in life that we forget to enjoy it.

STOP BREAKING YOUR OWN HEART

Dear young people, when people refuse to change, it is okay to stop trying to change them. It is okay to stop giving chances to someone who abuses your forgiveness. You just have to stop breaking your own heart.
